Abundance and size distribution of female mud crab (Scylla olivacea) from Sundarban mangrove forest in south-west coastal region
I worked as a co-investigator of the project. This project is funded by ministry of science and technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the year of 2018-19. The aims and objectives of this project is-
(i) To assess the female mud crab (Scylla olivacea) abundance (catch per unit effort) using long line in the different location of the south-west coastal region of Bangladesh;
(ii) To ascertain the size class distribution and possible clusters distribution of female mature and immature mud crabs in the region; and
(iii) To measure the water quality parameters and vegetation patterns regarding the female crab distribution in the locality.
