The main objective of the project is to increase the mud crab production of the country using limited physical resources and increasing the earning of foreign currency by exporting more mud crab.

The specific objectives of the sub-project are-

      I.        Introducing indoor vertical mud crab farming in RAS in the coastal area of Bangladesh,

    II.        To compare RAS and without RAS system for the vertical crab farming, 

  III.        To promote/demonstrate vertical mud crab farming system to meet international demand and hence to support the livelihood of the local community
